A few more answers
Can you work with the tools and the old code we already have?
Usually, and it's often the best option. Improving the spreadsheets, macros or apps you already have tends to cost less than replacing them.
VBA, VSTO add-ins, older .NET Framework apps, WinForms, WPF and SQL Server are my everyday work. Undocumented code is the normal starting point.
What happens after I send the form?
I read it and reply by email, usually with a few questions. If it's a fit, we have a call or I take a closer look at the process, and then you get a written proposal. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you.
Do you work internationally, and in which languages?
Yes, remotely, in English, Polish and Russian. Contract details depend on the job and go into the proposal.
Who owns what you build?
Ownership of the code and other deliverables is set out in the proposal and agreement for each project. If you have specific requirements, mention them early.
Do you use AI?
Where it helps, for example to pull data out of messy documents, and always with checks. I won't put a chatbot where a simple script does the job.
